Fires burning in Pacific Palisades, an upscale Los Angeles neighborhood near Malibu and Santa Monica, have been increasing at an alarming rate.
Its path was fed by strong winds – dry winds from the mountains to the north and east down to the Los Angeles coast, called the “Santa Ana winds.”
