Four dead in Russian strike on Kursk school, Ukraine says

President Voludmir Zelinski says Moscow had bombed an internal school in Russia, which is occupied by Ukrainian, as civilians were owned and prepared to evacuate.

The Ukrainian army said that four people were killed and that dozens – many of whom were elderly – were injured in the town of Soudha in the Kursk region, which was under the control of the Ukrainian for a period of five months.

It has been reported that more than 80 people were rescued from the building.

BBC was unable to confirm Ukraine’s claim that it was a deliberate Russian attack using a guided air bomb. Moscow blamed Ukraine for bombing.

Zelensky posted on X that the incident revealed Russia as “a state -free country.”

“This is how Russia tried the war – Soudha, the Kursk region, the Russian region, an internal school with civilians preparing to evacuate,” wrote.

“A Russian air bomb. They destroyed the building, although dozens of civilians were there.”

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army published on Telegram that four people have died and that 84 civilians were rescued, adding that “the strike was intentionally.”

For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that Ukraine carried out an attack on Saturday, which it described as a targeted missile strike.

Ukraine launched a stunning orientation in the Russian Obast Corsak last August, and took Russian border guards by surprise.

The government in Kiev explained at the time that it had no intention to adhere to the seizure area, just because it was used as a bargaining in future peace negotiations.

Zelinski resembles a strike on Saturday, “How Russia launched the war against Chechnya decades ago. They killed the Syrians in the same way. Russian bombs destroy Ukrainian homes in the same way.”
