Belgian police are searching for armed men after shooting outside a metro station in central Brussels.
CCTV shots show at least two men who wear aclava and carry what appeared to be Calchinikov weapons at the entrance to the Clémenceau station in the Belgian capital early on Wednesday.
The video from the scene shows the exchange of fire at about 06:15 local time (05:15 GMT).
Sarah Friedrix, a Brussels police spokeswoman, said that the suspects had fled to the metro station and may still be in the metro tunnels.
The spokeswoman said there were no shootings. Local police and federal rail police are looking at the area.
The Clémenceau station, as well as the nearby BRUSSELS-MIDI station, is also closed, which also operates as an uurostar trains station.
Two lines of the metro that serve the Brussels Center were also suspended from Gare de l’otest to TRône, close to the European Parliament.
