Iran criticises ‘bullying countries’ after Trump letter demanding talks

Iran’s supreme leader criticized the “bullying” countries in a clear response to Donald Trump’s message that requires negotiations on its nuclear program.

Trump said on Friday that he warned Tehran in a speech that might face a military action unless he agreed to talks about a nuclear agreement.

In an angry response on Saturday, Ayatollah Ali Khounai said that Iran will not negotiate with the “governments” that insist on the talks.

The United Nations screen says that its system has quickly developed its nuclear program in recent years.

Trump said he wanted to conclude a new deal with Iran to prevent it from developing its nuclear program.

He said on Friday that he offered Iran an opportunity to negotiate or risk its nuclear program.

“There are two ways that can deal with Iran – militarily, or face a deal,” Trump said. “I prefer to conclude a deal, because I am not looking to harm Iran.”

Iran had previously agreed to restrictions on its nuclear program Under the 2015 Iranian nuclear agreement, an agreement was signed with the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China, Russia and Germany for sanctions.

But during his first term in his post, Trump withdrew the United States from the deal and restored US sanctions on Iran.

In the years on the collapse of the deal, Iran accelerated its nuclear program and accelerated the enrichment of uranium. Analysts say they now have shares near weapons.

Conflicts in the Middle East last year also increased nuclear tensions.

President Trump said that Israel will give the green light to strike Iranian nuclear facilities, after Israel and Iran exchanged the attacks last year related to wars in Gaza and Lebanon. Iranian air defense systems – which protect their nuclear facilities – were damaged In Israeli strikes on military targets.

The Iranian government has also been subjected to economic pressure from Western sanctions and has witnessed protests throughout the country during the past few years on both social and economic grievances.
