“Five people – two women and three men – were attacked near Sanabur,” Arasidde said.

Two of them are foreigners, American [man]And the last woman from Israel. ”

Arasidi said that the police arrested two men accused of attack and investigation.

The police believe that the men followed the group.

According to witnesses from a woman, the group was resorting to a temple in Sanabur when three men arrived on a motorcycle and asked them about the place of getting gasoline.

A member of the group also gave them directives, one of the three men demanded 100 rupees ($ 1.29) of tourists.

“Since the house operator did not know them, I told them that they had no money,” the police said.

“When men repeatedly insisted, a male tourist gave them 20 rupees.

“After that, it was claimed that the three men began to argue.”

The body of a male tourist was later found on the Tonghabahdra channel in the Kobal area of Karnataka.

A case was registered at the rural Gangavathhi police station under sections related to blackmail, theft, gang rape and attempt to kill.

Police said the victims were receiving medical treatment at a government hospital.

Hambi, an ancient village in the state of Karnataka, southern India, is home to many ruins and temples from the Figianagara Empire. It was announced as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986.

In a publication on X, Prime Minister of Karnataka Cedaramaia wrote: “The attack and rape of an Israeli citizen and the owner of the house is a heinous act.

“Once the accident was reported, I got related to the relevant police, and she conducted a comprehensive investigation, and ordered them to determine the perpetrators quickly.
