Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin company has successfully launched a rocket into orbit for the first time.
The reusable New Glenn rocket was initially scheduled to launch earlier this week, but was postponed due to a “problem with the vehicle’s subsystem.”
The mission was partially successful after the booster that propelled the rocket into space failed to land on a platform in the ocean.
However, this is still a big step forward for Jeff Bezos and his company, which has spent years getting to the point of sending a rocket into orbit.
