Mother ‘gutted’ after Make-A-Wish trip cancelled

The mother of “destruction” left after a trip for her to Disneyland Paris because of her daughter with diseases of Daisi, five, due to the disruption of Eurostar services after the discovery of an unending bomb.

She said, 38 years old, she was “looking forward to making some special memories,” but she was unable to take alternative transportation to France with her daughter who has complex needs.

The five -year -old Daisy suffers from a rare metabolic disorder called non -ketogenic glyxinium (NQH). It uses a wheelchair, non -verbal and has a severe struggle.

Maneun traveled from Birmingham to London on Thursday with Daisy, her daughter Lara, her mother and her friend in general.

“We were planning for a long time.

“We were really looking to make some special memories with girls. I know Make-A-Wish would look forward to reorganization. But it is still bothering.

“I cried, we cried all. We were really looking forward to it. [Daisy’s] Life is limited, we never know the time we have done.

“We wanted to make some really wonderful memories.”

Many Britons found themselves stuck on the other side of the channel on Friday, with no easy way to return to the United Kingdom.

But some, like Vicky and her mother, Joe, decided to “achieve the maximum benefit from him” and spend a few other days in Paris.

“We started to feel a little anxious about the ability to go home in the end,” Vicky said.

Vicky and her mother were planning only to stay one night, but they decided to book again on Sunday.

“We will benefit more than that. We have just got to the Eiffel Tower and we will walk throughout the city, take our time and enjoy Paris,” she said.

Many travelers complained that they were unable to access the Eurostar app, including Bob and Mavis from Nottingham who were hoping to travel to Paris from London Saint Pancras International on Friday.

“We took hours by accessing the Eurostar app, because it continues to collapse,” said Mavis.

The couple, who finally managed to book a train to enter Paris on Saturday, said they had to spend money in a hotel in London all night.
