Pope Francis remained stable after being exposed to two episodes of the respiratory failure on Monday.
In his night update, the Vatican said that the Pope did not provide any other episodes of the failure of the respiratory system or the bronchial spasm.
The statement said: “He remained upside down, always on alert, cooperated with treatments and directed about well,” the statement said.
