Pope’s health a ‘complex clinical situation’, Vatican says

The Vatican said that Pope Francis is being treated for a “complex clinical situation” and will remain in the hospital for the longest necessity.

The 88 -year -old was accepted at Jimili Hospital in Rome on Friday to undergo treatment and bronchitis tests.

On Monday update, the Vatican said that the Pope has a “multi -microscopic infection” from the respiratory system, which requires a change in its treatment.

Before his acceptance last week, the Pope was suffering from symptoms of bronchitis for several days and authorized officials to read speeches prepared in events.

During the weekend, the Vatican said that the Pope’s condition was stable and that he was asked to “complete comfort” to help heal him.

He was unable to offer his regular weekly prayers on Sunday in St. Peter’s Square or a special mass leadership for artists to celebrate the Jubilee of the Catholic Church.
