The life of the love of the king of Zulu in South Africa has the country – and its socially conservative subjects have been spoiled by traditions by searching for divorce.

Multiple wives is part of the Zulu culture, but King Misuzulu Kazweichini took the extraordinary step of going to court for divorce his first wife, Queen Ntokozo Kamayisela.

“Everyone was confused. People did not expect the king to go further to divorce,” Professor Gogo Mazipuko, a cultural expert at the University of Johannesburg at the University of Johannesburg, told the BBC.

“In the Zulu culture, there is no divorce. It is not supposed to chase your wife,” she said.

The king of Zulu, the guardian of the old tradition that places marriage and polygamy at the heart of the royal success.

Its role inside South Africa may be a celebration only, but it is still greatly influential, as the government’s annual budget has reached several million dollars.

The Munark – which grew up in neighboring Aswini, studied in the United States and came to the throne in 2021 – it appears to be a controversy in court.

The coronation was challenged in court by his half -brother, who was trying to extract the crown from him.

His second marriage appears to be fragile, and his attempt to take a third wife who struck temporary warehouses, and there are also reports on the other corrosion with a young princess.

However, the turbulent personal life of the 50-year-old was discussed in silence tones-that is, until the divorce papers were presented in December.

Professor Mazipuko admitted that one of the kings of Zulu in the twentieth century had divorced one of his queens, but it was a “better royal secret”, given that the royal divorce is not the rule.

“If the marriage does not succeed, the wife will continue to live in the king’s house. She will get her own space. She will not have a relationship with the king, but she and her children will be in a good position.”

Perhaps the king “postponed” his wedding to his third bride Nomzamo Myeni, but the couple appeared together last week in the position of the state

Before joining the throne – after the sudden death of his father and his mother four years ago – he married Mysozolo at the time Ntokozo moyisela.

The two were already a couple and they had two children together, but according to another cultural expert, Professor Musa Xulu of the University of Zulland, the decision to marry seemed to hurry.

“It seems that he felt that he could not be king without a wife,” he told the BBC.

Queen Kamisila came from a “ordinary family” – as many wives of the Zulu kings do – in a small town of mining in the province of Kawazolo Natal.

The academy said that a club singer performs a restaurant in the coastal city of Derban, in which the royal eye caught.

Its first position in the family was clarified in the coronation of the King’s mandate in December 2022 when it sat next to him.

But her position is now threatened, as the monarch in the court papers said that they did not live as a husband and a wife at least, and their marriage has collapsed irreversibly.

The palace followed this by sending invitations to attend the king’s wedding to a new bride, Nomzamo Myeni, to be held in late January. The price of the bride, known as Le Polola, had already been paid in livestock – which is precious origins in the Zulu culture.

Queen Kamaysella did not take any of this lying down, as she developed separate trial procedures to stop the wedding, which was postponed as a result.

Her argument was that the king – known for his subjects as “Ingonyama”, and this means Assad – commits the “bigamy” crime without “converting” his civil marriage into a traditional Zulu marriage.

But the judge threw her case, saying that she had “turned” in her position because she had already agreed on her husband could take other wives.

He pointed out that the king had already done so – marrying Nozizwe Kamullala, MD of Eswatini Bank, in 2022.

Professor Mazipuko explained that polygamy was not initially part of the Zulu culture, in fact the first kings of the Bachelor.

But they were adopted by their successors – King Misozolo is the ninth king of the nation of Zulu – as a way to build allies.

Queen Camulla comes from a influential family in Aswini, and it appears that marriage is arranged for strengthening Relations between royal families.

However, it is unclear whether the couple is still in a relationship, as high -energy banking in Zulu’s cultural events has not been discovered for a period of time – with speculation whose final rituals have not been completed.

It seems that the various marriage problems of the king stems from the fact that the traditions have not been followed correctly.

In the case of the first wife, he chose the marriage of the modern era, without a traditional wedding.

Professor Xulu said: “In order for marriage to be perfect under the custom of Zulu, there must be a general gathering with the song and dance,” said Professor Xulu.

“You, as the bride, you must lead a single song and the bride’s shows are dancing with you, and you carry a spear to the king – then there is no return.”

Queen Ntokozo Kamayisela, who did not have the usual Zulu wedding, is now facing a divorce in court

Professor Xulu said this had left Queen Kamaysella without protecting traditions – and only $ 1100 (850 pounds) for a year, although she is likely to request more before returning to the life of a viewer.

In the case of the second wife, the academic said that Lobula was paid in January 2022, but the royal insiders suggest that the king felt that “those who went to pay did not have the authority to do so” – in addition to that this union was not marked at a general ceremony.

The wealth of the third wife, Nomzamo Myeni, is still clear because the king failed to marry her in January, despite giving the court approval.

Professor Xulu said that in the Zulu culture, a “delay” marriage usually occurs.

Although Mseni is still seen with the king, He accompanies him to a government event last week, where he was indicated as a queenThis indicates that their wedding may occur as soon as the king’s divorce passes.

However, it will not reach any strong ties with it, and this may be the reason that one of the aides of the monarch recently assured the local media that there was a “new queen”-SIHLE MDLULI, which descends from the royal family from a small ethnic group in South Africa.

SIHLE MDLULI is provided to the camera in a dangerous expression. She wears her hair in a style of Afro and has a thick necklace of beads with the design of the elephant around her neck and wears yellow and blue outfit.provider

The assistant suggested that she had named “the mother of the nation” – a title that would likely make her the largest queen with her children.

But Professor Xulu said that he would not be surprised if this wedding failed as well, as all the king’s relationships seemed to face a problem.

“I am not sure if he is ready to be king, and if he has good advisers,” the academic said.

He pointed out that the monarch was behaving incorrectly in his public life, and the arrest of many senior officials in his network.

Moreover, he installed himself as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the financially profitable lands fund, and he is the only guardian.

Confidence was established in a controversial way shortly before South Africa becomes democratic in 1994, allowing it to control about 2.8 million hectares (seven million acres) of land in Kawazolo Natal.

King Misuzulu also suspended all members of the Board of Directors, Bar One, accusing them of universal.

He did this against the government’s advice, which indicated that as a president will ask him to calculate Parliament on the fund’s operations – something that will not be in line with his status as a constitutional king.

The conflict remains unlawful, giving the government a major political headache as it tries to avoid going face to the king.

King Misuzulu faces a challenge to his face from his older brother

Professor Xulu said that he will not be surprised if she launched a strong, strong, competitive faction within the royal family, a new offer to violate it by asking the courts to judge that he is “not fit and appropriate” to be king.

The half -brother of the king, Prince Simakadi Zolo, the eldest son of the late king, has long overwhelmed the crown, but his supporters surpassed Mysozolo’s allies in discussions.

President Ramavusa later gave Misuzulu “a certificate of appreciation”, which paves the way to be funded by the government.

But the supporters of Prince Simakadi did not surrender – to go to the Supreme Court to declare the coronation in his “illegal” state – and won.

The court ruled that President Ramavusa had failed to comply with the law, which asked him to order an investigation into objections to Misuzulu’s accession.

The current situation remains, waiting for the result of the appeal.

The scandals on the private life of King Mysozolo – especially his divorce – have the ability to weaken his position if he reaches the other conflict of the crown.

Although Professor Mazibuko indicated that there was always fierce competition for the Zulu crown – except these days in court instead of a bloody battlefield.

“It is not the first king to pass a lot,” she said. “I hope to survive, and everything will settle.”
